Damp on your heads and
I watch in fascination
As your small faces
Suddenly colour
And you start to cry, and how
Your immaculate
Miniature hands
Clench tightly; and then just as
Suddenly how
You both slip into
Sleep and in the strange silence
I reflect upon
This moment - high-up
Here above the rooftops of
