Sweet! Lovely conversation going on there between the sparrow and the ladybird. The fruits look like quinces.

Only thing wrong with it is the spelling of the title (rhythm, not rhythem) - the artwork is delightful.

Thanks Delph for stopping by. I'll have the typo corrected.

Hooray Lake...a triumph. I love the ladybird on the fruit.

Thanks Seth for your sweet comment. The fruit is a kind of gourd.

This is really magnificent Lake. Ever consider showing your art in a coffee shop or some other venue?

Hey Marten,

Thanks for your appreciation. If only my work can appear in the studio's student annual exhibit next year, which I doubt. My teacher warned me that many dropouts happened in their 3-4 month study. If one can stick to it for a year or two, he/she is likely to stay. I'll see.

Thanks for your encouragement.

Love the 'dash' of the bird, as if it has just landed, still energised with flight.

The balance of the bug is not right for me.

enjoying viewing these Lake

thank you for sharing

Thanks Mac. Good eye on the details. That "dash", though clumsy, I'm glad it has some effect. I still have problems with water, ink and brush that really need years of practice. The ladybird is tilted. It needs more patience when finishing. Thanks for pointing these out. I wounder if you ever draw.

hi Lake

My drawing skills are zero, or below zero, but I'm pleased the site has a forum because visual art is show I think!

cheers
