Brother Ali

Anyone else heard of this guy? The man can write lyrics and knows what hip-hop is all about.

I have his album Us which is pretty cool. The white boy sure can rhyme.

Turns out he is an albino black man... and I just learned he is registered with the FBI. Very interesting.

According to Wiki:

While Brother Ali's family is white, he has often described a childhood marked by cruelty and exclusion by his white classmates as a result of his physical abnormality. He has often explained that, from an early age, he felt "most at home amongst African Americans."

that clears more up, I stand corrected. Interesting man, whatever his actual race and creed.

I like that.

B introduced me to DJ shadow, now Pseud to Brother Ali.

My mind wasn't closed to this kind of music, but I certainly wouldn't have sought it out.

I like this section of PG.
