Many congrats to Ray for having a poem published in London Grip today. I really like the last two lines. A hint a dark humour there I felt. Very good.

Well done Ray!

I like your new bio too, although I think it retains elements of the old one. Or is it changed at all?

Thanks all.

The editor suggested 2 or 3 changes to the poem, which I okayed. Not experienced that before. He's also added "describes himself as" to the bio, which is wrong, I'd never do that.

That is interesting Ray, as when had a couple accepted by the editor last year he also suggested some changes. They all related to punctuation. When I said that I was happy to make the changes he emailed me back and told me that it was a relief as not all poets weren't as compliant. So I suspect he does this quite a lot.

To be fair, the one suggestion he made was a good one, I see now. I've always wondered why London Grip? An odd name, isn't it? Did they leave an "e" off unintentionally and then thought, Oh fuck it!

That just gave me good chuckle while watching my kids struggling to learn to swim.
