Four -- now 5! Acceptances

Post by Wilcken » Fri Aug 24, 2012 3:53 pm

[s][/s]I don't know if the plural of acceptance is. I'm feeling a small abundance of acceptance though. Acceptupi? I dunno.

Anyhow, I've been submitting work to online and print journals and four (!) of them so far have selected my work.

Elimae, Camroc Press Review, PANK Magazine and Burntdistrict.

Some of the poems I've workshopped here such as No Cover and Living Room, and a couple other early drafts I posted here that evolved into pretty-much new poems.

Anyhow, just thought I would share the fun. some are coming up soon and others over the winter. As they appear online I will re-post the links.

Wowie zowie, Wilko . . . quadruple congratulations!

PS: "acceptances" is correct, I believe (though "acceptancies" sounds more fun).

Jane, Seth, Ros, David --

How rude of me to take this long to thank all y'all.

So first things first... thanks much for the props!

I just heard that Burntdistrict has now completed the printing of issue two, so that is now being made available via their website. I did not post that poem here but would love to share it, let me check with them how I am allowed to do that in the early wake of the publication.

It's pretty cool to share successes with folks who know this world from the inside.

Cheers
Jane

Thanks Seth! Always a lovely idea to celebrate with music.

Just found out that a piece I workshopped here, Rabble Rouser, has been accepted by Bat City Review. Thanks to Seth and Peter for hangin with me while I worked it out.
