Very nice. Very Van Gogh.
The heavy stokes are great. I bet it was a pleasure to paint it. How big is the original?

Thanks Suzanne! Yes, it was a joy to paint. I've done a 'Monet' before, but never a 'Van Gogh' style pic. Can't remember the exact size of the original (the publisher is holding onto the painting for the time being to use for promotions) but I think it was about A3.

Well it is very inspirational. I have longer... No had a nagging urge to paint for years and this painting threw kindling it. I ling to do abstract landscapes.... Olives and reds.

there is a force more comatose than mindful, you became trance like;
that deepened the look of unnatural form to give substance;


the unusual proportions of the body on the plane, broken by perspective gives it more mystery moon-head arms
