Baz

I see a free bird who soars across the sky
urgent and elegant, disinclined to tarry,
my foolish hand rises and waves good bye
then drops to my side. I think of Barrie.

dedalus,

Thanks for the elegant elegy, it reminds me of the classical Chinese jue ju.

Hope Barrie can hear this.

On the money, Brendan. I'm sure barrie would urge a cut here and there (lol) but would be touched and proud of such beauty in his name.

A "free bird" indeed.

You'll hate me for saying this, Brendan, but it's quite touching.
