For Barrie

For Barrie

Postby stuartryder » Fri Jan 09, 2009 1:59 pm

Goodnight
Moontarn Man,
The one who

Looked into the lake
And gave words
To the reflections I

Could just remember;
Made them speak so I could
Never forget.

Thanks Stuart for the tribute. I'm wordless, your poem helps ease our pain.

Elegant and highly wrought, Stuart. The man as poet and communicator is caught in such eloquence.

I think you've caught all our feelings, Stuart.

I wonder if someone could perhaps put together a list of Barrie's poems? I only commented on a couple and I feel I've missed a lot. It would perhaps be a sort of tribute to him.
Rosencrantz: What are you playing at? Guildenstern: Words. Words. They're all we have to go on.

Ros, I think that would be a lovely idea. It's actually shocked me how much this has upset me, so something like that would feel like some sort of recognition for him.

Could they all be moved into a seperate section on the forum, a sort of tribute room?

Very Zen, Stuart - much to Barrie's liking, I am sure.
