Since this feature is now up and running again - well I'm pedalling - I think there is a consensus worth recognising in a feature for this...

I think you're right Mac. It's one of my favourites on the current board.
to be totally honest... whenever you feel you really shouldn't write that, that's exactly what you should write.

Thanks Ian. As Ros says Control of the rhythm is great. This is how free verse should be, folks - not necessarily a strict obvious meter but always with that feel of meter and rhythm in the background...would be a worthy feature.
