Lake, this is incredibly beautiful. Awesomely well done.
The silky look of the petals (peonies?) nearly took my breath away.
And the little flowerhead at the top, with its green collar -- so cheerful.
Applause!

Jane
Everything looks better by candlelight. Everything sounds more plausible on the shortwave.

Lovely petals!

Hi Jane,

Thank you for your kind comments. Yes, it is peony, glad it is recognizable. You got all the details.

Thanks.

Hi Seth,

I start with easier ones - flowers and birds. Thank you for liking the petals.

Lake,
I am really enjoying your pictures. They are so delicate. :D

I like the boldness, the energy, but the 'flowerhead' was a distraction for me. There was life in this painting.

mac :)

Thank you Delph.

Mac, glad you think there's life in it. Re that flowerhead, you are right, it should be placed closer to the two big ones. But once you put your brush down, you can't erase it like drawing with a pencil. That's a bit frustrating and brings a challenge to me in the future as how to repair. :?

Many thanks,

Lake
