JJ. Sorry to hit and run.
I'm seriously impressed with your latest post.
I'm sorry i'm not able to critique your post right now.
I've left my computer at my studio so i'm using my crappy tablet. (With a magnifying glass) to post this.
So frustrating.
Not even sure if this will land into pg.
I'm off to Iceland tomorrow for 5 days but i promise i will get back to you.
I wanted to share this as i've entered it into a "Teeside" exhibition,
I'll be in touch when i get back.

I also find it dynamic and powerful. It would be useful to know the size of the canvas.

No prob's, Pauline, I'll see you when you get back from Iceland. I hear they're doing a great deal on Quorn substitute, more commonly known as Chickens, with a bag of three for £5.75. :)

You MUST post some photos when you get back. You'll have SO much material to use for paintings and poems, so much so that I almost feel jealous. :)

I have the distinct advantage of having climbed Roseberry Topping from Guisborough. A Uni friend of mine still lives there, and we've walked in the Lakes and Cleveland Hills together a few times. I love the semi-abstract presentation with that wonderfully atmospheric sky. The hill stands proud against the skyline and really can be seen for miles around, just like this. I assume this is a large canvas, so I suspect the impact will be striking in reality, with those glorious colours instantly attracting the eye. The judges etc will no doubt notice your painting immediately. Great work.

Let us know how the exhibition went, because I'd luurve to know.

Best of luck

JJ
