From the pearly gates.
Gold holds value, but tainted
with greed and longing.
In the beginning there was nothing, and it exploded. (Terry Pratchett on the Big Bang Theory)

with greed and longing
which are fuelled by our desire
to have, more than need.
to anticipate touching what is unseen seems far more interesting than seeing what the hand can not touch

to have, more than need
is not a sin lest go to waste,
feed and clothe the poor.

Feed and clothe the poor,
for the Kingdom of Heaven
is still not quite theirs.
After letting go of branches and walking through the ape gait, we managed to grasp what hands were really for......

Is still not quite theirs,
but can you reason with bears?
They may tear my flares!

They may tear my flares!
Worse even, ruin that quiff
or my nice blue shoes.

T'was Spot that did it!
Curled tightly in his basket
tail wagging slightly.
It is at the edge of the
petal that love waits

Tail wagging slightly,
scales sparkling and nose smoking -
a happy dragon.

A happy dragon
smiles when Wales win at rugby:
breathing fire, boyo.
After letting go of branches and walking through the ape gait, we managed to grasp what hands were really for......

Breathing fire, boyo!
It's nothing, comparing with
a sword down his throat.

Arthur to Martha,
stuck at home with the washing
while he plays soldiers.

Who plays president?
The next one in line, that's who!

They live in my head!

what they don’t agree

What they don't agree
is whether to stuff the bird
with chestnuts or sage.
